Payments & Ordering
Payment Methods
We accept Credit Card payment (VISA, Mastercard), Direct Deposit, POLi Internet Banking and PayPal Express. Your goods are shipped upon receipt of cleared funds.
Secure Payments online
Online Credit Card payments are processed with the leading PCI-DSS compliant credit card payment gateway.
Order Confirmation
Upon placing an order on the Dane Craft Modern Furniture Co website you will receive an email with your Order details. We will ship your goods the next business day upon receiving cleared payment.
Once your goods have left our warehouse you will receive a second email with the Consignment details. This email will provide details to allow you to track your goods in transit.
Stock on Hand
All care is taken to ensure that our website accurately reflects if an item is available or out of stock. Despite our best efforts in the unusual event that we are out of stock of an item that is marked as available we will contact you within 48 business hours to provide an alternative item, place your product on backorder or issue a full refund.
Cancellation of an Order
All orders can be cancelled prior to the dispatch of the item/s from our warehouse. Cancelled online orders are refunded in full.
Once an order has left our warehouse, an order may still be cancelled however shipping fees incurred in dispatching and returning the goods to our warehouse are non-refundable.

Shipping Areas
Our Courier, offers an Australian-Wide Road Express service with local branches across Australia.
We do not ship outside of Australia.
Estimated Delivery Day / Time
We will usually dispatch your order within one business day of receiving it. Our warehouse is based in Brisbane and current transit times are:-
- Same Day (order before 10AM): Brisbane and Gold Coast
- 1-2 Business Days: Sydney, Sunshine Coast, Regional SE QLD, Newcastle
- 2-3 Business Days: Melbourne, Geelong
- 3-5 Business Days: Adelaide, Regional VIC and NSW
- 5-7 Business Days: Perth
All deliveries take place in normal business hours (9am to 5pm) Monday to Friday. We do not offer weekend deliveries.
Brisbane and the Gold Coast Customers
You will receive a text on the morning of your delivery to advise that your goods are on their way. Our couriers will call 30 minutes prior to arrival.
Customers outside of Brisbane and the Gold Coast
You will receive an email with the Consignment details once your goods have left our warehouse. This email will provide you with contact details for the Courier and allow you to track your goods in transit. Our Courier is unable to provide a window for delivery on the day.
We work to meet our estimated delivery timeframe but, to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of failure to meet estimated delivery time.
Pick Up
We offer direct pick-ups for majority of our products from our Kedron Showroom (excluding our Slab Dining and Bar Tables). If purchasing online, simply select ‘Pick-Up’ in the checkout page. We will contact you through text or call to let you know once your goods are ready for collection.
If you wish to collect your items directly from our Warehouse, located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, please contact the showroom to let us know as soon as possible after your order has been placed, on 1300 707 018
Basic Delivery Service
Our Couriers are affordable and quick however it is a basic courier service to ground floor - it is not a furniture removalist service.
The courier will arrive by him/herself and may require your assistance with heavier items.
This service is not for everyone … if you have any concerns please give us a call and we can discuss other options that might be more suitable to your situation.
Authority to Leave / Special Delivery Instructions
We recommend providing an Authority to Leave. This means that if our courier arrives and you are not onsite your item will be safely left for you.
As you progress through the checkout you be will asked if you agree to provide an Authority to Leave (ATL) your goods. Our Couriers will only leave your goods if you select this option and the individual courier deems it safe to do so at the time.
There is a text field underneath the ATL option in the checkout which allows you to include instructions on where you would like the goods placed or other special delivery instructions.
Delayed Dispatch
If you do not want your goods immediately dispatched we recommend that you advise us of your preferred delivery date in the text field underneath the Authority to Leave (ATL) option in the checkout.
Heavy Items

Bulky Goods
In transit, bulky items may be separated from other items in your order. Our Couriers will endeavour to deliver all of your items at the one time. However from time to time you may receive your order in a split delivery.
Change of Delivery Address
Your delivery address can be changed prior to dispatch of your order from our warehouse without incurring additional fees.
Once your goods are in transit a change of delivery address will incur a redirection fee from our Courier. If you need to change your Delivery Address please contact our office for assistance.
Missed the Courier
If you miss our Courier and you have not provided an Authority to Leave (ATL) your goods will be returned to the Depot. You will receive a note from the Courier in your letter box or at your door advising you of the delivery attempt and asking you to call to rearrange delivery.
Futile Delivery
If a delivery has been attempted and there was nobody home to accept the goods, and no authority to leave the goods was given, Dane Craft Modern Furniture Co reserves the right to charge for any additional costs incurred (shipping and storage) or to cancel the sale contract, in which case, we will fully refund you the net amount (i.e. the amount you paid minus shipping costs or storage costs).
Assembly
Our products may require some minor assembly. Each product page will provide information as to the amount of assembly required.
Acceptance of your Goods
Please inspect your delivered goods immediately upon receipt and notify us within seven (7) days of delivery if the goods are damaged or do not comply with the terms of the sale contract. If you fail to notify us within seven (7) days of delivery you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.
Returns & Refunds
Return Policy
We accept returns within seven (7) days for a full refund of the purchase price of the product. Shipping fees incurred in dispatching and returning the goods to our warehouse are non-refundable. All returning item(s) must be returned in the original packaging, unassembled and in unused/unmarked condition.
Due to Health & Safety regulations, our warehouse can only accept returns from a courier company directly.
A refund will be issued within three (3) business days for items that meet the conditions above.
Warranty & Your Consumer Rights
12 Month Warranty
We offer a 12 Month Warranty for all our products. The warranty applies to normal domestic use only.
The warranty provides for the repair or replacement of a product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of commercial use, normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.
Normal wear and tear includes, but is not limited to, loosening of buttons (and other upholstery trimmings), scratching and scuffs. This warranty does not apply to goods that have been altered by the user in any way.
Australian Consumer Laws
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We take all care and caution to ensure our website accurately represents the stock availability and pricing of all our products. We reserve the right to correct any errors that may be made by us in publishing these prices and/or availability.
