Amongst the fruits of our latest searches are counter stools from the collections of Peterson and Olaf.

Why was the Peterson Counter Stool selected for addition to our range? The answer is simple – it is clearly built to last and exhibits a timeless design that will bring years of practical use and pleasure. Its seat height of 68cm is perfect for the standard 90cm kitchen counter and accordingly brings comfort, style and relaxation to any kitchen.  It has been expertly crafted, substantially framed and beautifully designed to produce a stool that is both stable and stylish. It features an Ash wood base topped with a gently curved seat and an unobtrusive plywood backboard. It comes complete with either a natural waxed or a painted black finish and is perfect for modern transitional spaces and in particular for those situations where a low profile back support is desirable. The addition of a foot bar with cross member support gives added stability and longevity.

The shapely Olaf Counter Stool continues this theme of selecting beautiful, practical Danish furniture that exhibit an air of Scandinavian craftsmanship and detailing to your space. Made from solid Ash, the unmistakably Danish styling with its welcoming carved seat and angular legs with handrails, lends itself to family friendly modern kitchen spaces. Exquisitely joined, the legs form a solid geometric base that entirely supports the body moulding comfortable rounded seat which moulds. Like it's Peterson counterpart, but without the backboard, its overall look is both cohesive and casual. With a seat height of 65cm, this stool is perfect for standard kitchen counters since its seat height and absence of backboard enable it to be tucked away so as not to impact on open plan sight lines.
