Dane Craft Modern Furniture Co’s Svea Dining Table range features solid American Walnut timber table tops on a powdercoated steel base. The timber slab is a rich chocolate brown colour approaching lighter shades at the edges.
The tabletop has been carefully crafted to ensure that the natural beauty of the timber is not lost – the slab features naturally occurring knots and crevices are filled with a black resin to create a smooth table surface.

Dane Craft Modern Furniture Co’s Svea Dining Table range features solid American Walnut timber table tops on a powdercoated steel base. The base frame has been thoughtfully designed with the leg frame rising from the floor at a subtle outwards angle to meet the slab. This detail creates a sense of softness and elegance to the dining table. We offer three colour options for the base:- White, Black or Pale Eucalypt.
The Walnut timber tabletop is an attractive chocolate brown colour approaching paler shades at the slab edges. The tabletop is 5 cm thick and has been carefully crafted to ensure that the natural beauty of the timber is not lost – the slab features naturally occurring knots and crevices are filled with black resin to create a smooth table surface.
The 200 cm long Svea Dining Table will comfortably seat 6-8 people. The Marguerite padded Dining Chair is an obvious companion to this table. Available in Tan Leather, Grey or Tan Wool or our exclusive Kauniste upholstery. Alternatively, the Peterson Dining Chair in an all-black finish offers a minimalist look that suits modern homes.
The Svea Dining Table is also available with a Reclaimed Elm tabletop and table sizes include 180 cm, 200 cm and 260 cm. Shipping Times
We will usually dispatch your order within one business day of receiving it. Our warehouse is based in Brisbane and current transit times are:-
Same Day (order before 10AM): Brisbane and Gold Coast
1-2 Business Days: Sydney, Sunshine Coast, Regional SE QLD, Newcastle
2-3 Business Days: Melbourne, Geelong
3-5 Business Days: Adelaide, Regional VIC and NSW
5-7 Business Days: Perth
Pick Up
We offer pick-ups for the majority of our product range from our Kedron Showroom. This excludes our Slab Dining and Bar Tables, which require specialist handling.
Shipping Cost
Our Courier charges delivery based upon where your order is going to, the size of the parcels and the number of parcels. On each product page is a Postage Calculator – enter your postcode and the quantity you are after and it will calculate your shipping fee.
Delivery Service
Our Courier offers a nation-wide Road Express service. It is affordable and quick however it is a basic courier service to ground floor - it is not a furniture removalist service. The courier will arrive by him/herself and may require your assistance with heavier items.
This service is not for everyone … if you have any concerns please give us a call and we can discuss other options that might be more suitable to your situation.
Returns
We offer a 7 days return policy. Once you advise us of your intention to return an item (via our website) we will come be back in touch with you within 24 business hours to make the necessary arrangements with you. We use a third party courier so delivery charges are not refundable.

12 Month Product Warranty
All of our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
